Three Corinthians council members were expelled from the club after participating in the invasion of the president's office. The decision was made in a meeting held at Parque São Jorge. The expelled council members were Maria Angela, Paulo Juricic and Ronaldo Fernandez Tomé. They were responsible for trying to retake the presidency of the club on May 31, 2025. The invasion was carried out after councilor Maria Angela declared that she had assumed the presidency of the Deliberative Council. She claimed that she had annulled the impeachment vote that removed President Augusto Melo from office. However, the acting president, Osmar Stabile, refused to leave the president's office and reiterated his continuity in the position. The Ethics Committee of the Corinthians Associates also defined the expulsions of Claudinei Alves and Walmir Costa, former director and assistant director of the base categories during the Augusto Melo administration.
